What's new in Stay-Board?

In-app PDF preview

Invoices can now be previewed directly inside Stay-Board — no download needed. Just tap the eye icon next to any invoice and it opens instantly on screen. From there you can print or share it too.

Undo after deleting

Accidentally deleted a guest or room? You now have 5 seconds to undo. Instead of a confirmation pop-up, a small "Undo" button appears — faster and less disruptive in daily use.

Offline indicator

When the internet connection drops, a small banner appears at the top of the screen. It disappears automatically once you're back online — so you always know whether Stay-Board is live or offline.

Smarter booking form

It's no longer possible to accidentally save a booking with a check-out date before the check-in date. The form checks this on save and shows a clear error message.

Empty states with hints

Fresh installs now show a friendly hint instead of a blank white page when guests, rooms or invoices are empty — including a short tip on what to do next.

Calendar legend always visible

The colour legend in the calendar — which colour means which booking status — is now visible on all devices and in all views. Previously it was hidden on small screens in the month view.

Repeat the intro tour

New staff or anyone who missed the guided tour on first launch: there's now a button in the hotel settings to restart the step-by-step introduction at any time.

Room types in three languages

Room types such as single room, suite or apartment are now shown in German, English or French depending on the app language setting.

Minor improvements

• The "+" button now shows a tooltip on long press — helpful for new users and screen readers.
• Guest, room and invoice avatars are now labelled for screen readers.
• The "please confirm your email" message now disappears automatically after the first successful login.
