What's new in Stay-Board?

Online check-in before arrival

Guests can now fill in and sign the registration form on their phone before they arrive. Stay-Board sends the personal check-in link automatically in the pre-arrival email – or you share it manually per booking. The check-in page also shows your welcome and arrival information. On the day of arrival the form is ready and reception no longer has to type anything.

Channel sync now hourly – with outage alerts

Bookings from Booking.com, Airbnb & co. are now synced every hour instead of three times a day. If syncing fails several times in a row, you get a push notification. Bookings that could not be matched to a room are no longer lost: they appear as “unassigned” and can be assigned to a room with one click. Cancellations via a channel stay traceable with their timestamp.

Guests: booking history at a glance

The guest list now shows at a glance how often and when a guest last booked, and marks guests with saved notes (e.g. allergies or requests). The guest profile lists all previous bookings – one tap opens the booking.

Pre-arrival email with a new look

Pre-arrival and confirmation emails have a fresh design with a coloured header and now also look clean in Gmail. The check-in link appears as a clearly visible button instead of a long address.

1-month free trial – with every module and up to 20 rooms

New hotels and guesthouses now get a full month to try Stay-Board completely free, including every paid module. During the trial you can add up to 20 rooms – even on the Standard plan – so you can try Stay-Board with a realistically sized property. A clearly visible countdown on the dashboard always shows how much trial time is left.

Website builder

Brand new: build your own public hotel website in just a few clicks, right inside Stay-Board — with a hero image, room list and booking widget. No separate tool, no coding required.

Expense tracker

Operating expenses like cleaning supplies or utilities can now be logged directly in Stay-Board and broken down by category — giving you a more realistic picture of revenue versus costs.

Seasonal pricing & booking extras

Room prices can now vary by season, and bookings can include extra items or services. Both flow automatically into invoices and revenue reports.

Guided intro tours for (almost) every module

Cleaning, staff, guest registration, reports, invoices, expenses, website builder: opening any of these for the first time now triggers a short spotlight tour through the key features. You can restart the intro any time from the hotel settings.

Channel connections: now with a markup

You can now set a price markup per channel for bookings coming from Booking.com, Airbnb & co. — handy when you need to factor in commission fees. Also fixed: imported channel bookings sometimes showed as €0, and manual syncs no longer delete past bookings.

Payment method & tourist tax right on the booking

Cash, card or bank transfer: the payment method can now be set directly on the booking. The tourist tax is suggested automatically, with business guests exempted automatically. Bookings also show at a glance in the calendar whether they're a business or leisure stay.

Support chat right inside the app

New: you can now ask questions about Stay-Board directly in the app, from the account menu. The assistant “Conci” answers the most common questions instantly; when it needs a human, our team takes over and gets back to you via chat, push and email. The whole conversation stays in the app.

The app opens in your language

If you browse the website in English or French and move on to sign in, the app and the confirmation email now come in that same language too — no manual switching.

A fresher design across the app

Rooms, guests, bookings, calendar, invoices, staff and the admin dashboard all got a more consistent, cleaner look — including colour-coded icon badges, clearer forms and better-grouped settings.

Now available in 8 languages

The Stay-Board website is now also available in Italian, Polish, Hungarian, Dutch and Czech — alongside German, English and French.

Minor improvements

• Rooms can now have a floor assigned, with a matching filter in the room overview.
• Creating a booking now includes extra protection against accidental double bookings.
• The automatic channel sync is more reliable and now reports problems in plain language (e.g. “set up the export URL again”) instead of a technical error number.
• Bookings from Booking.com & co. show the channel icon in the calendar again.
• The ID photo upload during guest registration sometimes failed silently — it now works reliably for both front and back.
• The welcome email after sign-up is sent reliably again once the email address is confirmed.
• The room limit is now enforced consistently on plan downgrades, while existing bookings stay protected.
• Booking extras can now be viewed and edited later on and are fully carried over to the invoice.
• The website builder shows a live preview of your changes.
• Every booking now shows when it was created; the sync log shows the arrival and departure dates of imported bookings.
• The registration form checks required fields and the signature before saving.
• Invoices can only be deleted as drafts – issued invoices stay protected.
• New Android app version 2.5 on Google Play.
